What are Adult Therapy Services?

Our adult services can include occupational therapy, behavior therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, nursing, and counseling. These physical and behavior support services can take place in the home or community and can include assessment, treatment planning, community integration, individual behavior support plans, crisis interventions, and staff training.

Our adult service providers receive skilled training and supervised fieldwork. All direct behavioral health providers are trained Registered Behavior Technicians that receive comprehensive training in applied behavior analysis and crisis intervention. All licensed and credentialed providers adhere to the requirements of their discipline’s board.

TES helps special needs clients & care teams meet goals like restoring independence and improving quality of life.

TES adult service programs offer a wide range of therapies and services with a variety of benefits. Some of these benefits include improving skills, reducing maladaptive behaviors, and creating or restoring independence. Counseling, occupational, physical, and speech therapy also improve quality of life and create greater access to the environment. Each individual behavior support plan is made in collaboration with the client or resident. Since TES employs a variety of consultants the program has the option to build a team of consultants who are skilled in collaboration to meet the client/resident’s goals.

Every adult therapy session is individualized to include the client’s preferred reinforcements, activities/leisure activities, engagement with preferred stimuli and people/environments, and locations.

Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), mid-level supervisors, and therapists are in constant communication with each other and all members of the treatment team including the client, caregivers, and other service providers. Everyone has a voice when it comes to quality treatment.

When involved, family plays an important role in adult therapy by giving the treatment team a personal perspective of what deficits, skills, and unique needs the individual has.
