I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside some wonderful and amazing people who empower everyone around them: staff, students, and families. While working at TES for the last 21 years, I have seen many changes and, with those changes, great opportunities. I feel very blessed to work for such a great company.

I love working with clients and families on a daily basis. I hope that the services that I provide as a SLPA helps empower families in regards to their child’s communication skills and more.Since I have started working with TES, I have grown in so many ways!

As an occupational therapist, I aspire to empower my clients of all abilities to not only gain the skills needed to engage meaningfully in their own lives but to also be confident in their differences and unique abilities. Success does not look the same for everyone and I hope to give my clients and their families the opportunity to be successful in the ways that work for them.

I don’t think that I can pick just one part of the TES mission statement that I connect with the most. I feel that each part goes hand in hand to continue to help TES grow. I enjoy empowering others by teaching and helping them become successful, as well as working with the TES Ohio team to create innovative solutions to help us continue to evolve and become better and better for our clients and community.

I always look at each student/patient/client individually and try to tailor their goals to hopefully help them work up a hierarchy quickly and efficiently. I also really try to get to know each one of them and their learning style or personal motivation to try and work it in to their sessions or rewards.

I connect with empowering individuals of all abilities. I get to provide the students on my routes with encouragement to do their best and to support the schools by getting to students to school and home safely.

I’ve learned to recognize that each student is very unique and special and my role to support them really makes a difference and I embrace the opportunity to help them succeed.

I was drawn to counseling and art therapy because it involves helping people and uses creativity to process difficult situations and emotions. TES has always supported the arts and helping people and provides me with a space to do what I love.

I thoroughly enjoy being able to empower the kids and/or clients I serve as an Occupational Therapy Assistant through as many ways as possible. I really like taking on challenges and try taking them head on by using everything at my disposal including creating custom activities tailored for them when necessary. I love that TES allows our creativity to flow and do what it takes to reach the goals of our clients.

The part of our mission with which I really connect is Innovation. After re-designing the way I provide assessments through the pandemic, and now moving forward in this post-covid landscape, I believe more than ever in the process and power of Innovation. The techniques and tools that I use must evolve just as rapidly as the world of education does.

I feel great working with individuals that really take the time to create solutions that empower individuals abilities. Working with this group has really opened my eyes to the possibilities of great change and I am really excited to see what the future will bring for this wonderful company.

“To empower individuals of all abilities by fostering opportunities for success through customized, innovative solutions.” I hope my work as a school nurse empowers students with medical needs and their families to know they are able and deserving of all the supports and opportunities that are offered to all students. Medical needs should not be a barrier to their school experience!

Barb is a strong advocate of school health and is proud to be an integral part of TES’s multidisciplinary approach to supporting students.

As a pediatric physical therapist, my first and foremost goal is to provide all children the ability to achieve their highest potential in their growth and development. It is my greatest joy to create and customize programs based on each child’s individual and unique needs. I wake up every morning feeling so blessed that I get to work with my amazing kiddos. The fact that I am able to play a small role in their lives is the most rewarding feeling in the world!

I think the parts of the TES mission that I connect with the most is through empowering individuals of all abilities by helping them to do the tasks that they need to perform better whether in school or home settings. Using the new ideas and methods of ABA help me to connect better with their needs plus on the mission of TES for every individual that I am helping with.

I am blessed to work with a company that genuinely cares about the success of our students and their employees!

I strive to empower anyone and everyone around me. I enjoy to share my knowledge and experience with others who are willing to listen. I feel most empowered when I can learn and execute something new.

Since working at TES, I have grown professionally by receiving outstanding supervision and I have been given amazing learning opportunities both in the field and educationally. I feel so supported by both my colleagues and the company that I can confidently go out and do my best to help others.

Allied with its mission, TES provides the resources and flexibility which are invaluable for me to create therapeutic plans that are personalized to each client’s unique abilities.

The aspect of the TES Mission with which I connect most is “empowering individuals of all abilities.” I have struggled, and watched so many of my loved ones struggle, academically simply due to a lack of understanding that our sharpest aptitudes lie outside of conventionally rewarded

Over the past 28 years I have learned new skills that have helped me better understand how both IRL/TES operate allowing me to fill in and take on projects “outside my comfort zone” because it was needed. This is a skill that not only helps me professionally, but has also helped within my personal life.

I have loved being a part of the TES Team. I’ve learned so much about the ways in which TES supports children inside the classroom and at the clinic. Being able to participate in the Ohio Leadership Team and DEI Committee are opportunities I am extremely grateful for. I have been able to grow creatively working in programs like Canva and Contact Monkey. The recent behind the scenes skills I’ve learned have taken my understanding of TES to a whole new level! I’m grateful for the ability to continue to learn new

I really enjoy working with the students and families I support on my route. I have learned to do my job well by really getting to work closely with students, aides and the parents. The love and care that the parents have for the children that attend Westmoreland Academy inspires me to do my best so that I can support and contribute to their success.

I have learned that there is much to be learned! I have been afforded the opportunity to supervise so many bright, wonderful young professionals who have taught me much. I appreciate how TES has nurtured me as a therapist and as a supervisor. And TES has also shown me that change and growth are inevitable and push us to thrive as individuals and professionals. Additionally, I have been able to be part of the recruitment efforts of TES in attending professional conferences and supporting our HR team at events like CASHA. I am coming up on my 5 year anniversary with TES and am thankful for this company’s support and efforts every day.

Working at TES has allowed me to grow professionally by granting me the knowledge and tools to provide adequate support to clients and families.

TES has given me opportunities to grow my leadership and communication skills. I have had opportunities to give continuing education seminars and even to write a short article. I have enjoyed expanding my skill set in these ways.

I am so grateful to be a part of such a caring and compassionate work family. I have loved getting to work in the schools, as well as the clinic, since returning to the TES team. TES has provided me with so many opportunities to try new things, implement creative treatments, collaborate with a rocking interdisciplinary team, and give back to the community. I feel inspired every day by my passionate colleagues and mentors.

TES has given me the unique opportunity to explore multiple settings, which has allowed me to meet and collaborate with different disciplines. The clinical skills and creativity that I have honed are attributed to my inspiring mentors and colleagues who have supported and challenged me to become a better therapist.

I have professionally grown tremendously well since starting at TES. When first staring the job I didn’t know much about Autism but as I grew over the 3 years I’ve learned so much and meet so many great coworkers and families to work with. Through all the tough times that where present throughout the years, I am grateful. It changed me in a positive way. I am much more understanding towards others. I’ve enjoyed my time working at TES! As a physical therapist, I have developed ongoing clinical reasoning, deeper knowledge, greater communication, and team work skills through an interdisciplinary team approach. At TES, we focus on collaborating as a therapeutic team and with the family in order to provide our clients with individualized support and services to meet their needs.
