Our providers are trained to assist the individuals they are working with by utilizing age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate teaching/training techniques. The goal of the provider is to support the transition youth in reaching their milestones, while being as independent as possible.
Age appropriate assessments are utilized to discover an individual’s interests, strengths and weaknesses. Assessment results will be utilized to help guide the transition process so that it is a positive, meaningful experience for the students.
Our program offers personal, vocational skills training, and supported employment services to youth with developmental disabilities, and emotional or mental health issues, including Autism Spectrum Disorders. Participants in the program are empowered to focus on and develop the social and adaptive skills necessary to live and work independently and experience the quality of life that they seek to obtain.
