TES provides a nationally accredited structured language literacy foundation based on the Orton Gillingham methodology.
Our highly trained and certified Language Therapists (CALT) and Practitioners (CALP) meet one-on-one and in small groups, in-person and online, with clients of all ages to address difficulties in reading (phonics, decoding, fluency, spelling), writing (handwriting, written expression, grammar), phonological awareness, comprehension and vocabulary.
Utilizing a variety of formal and informal assessment tools, our reading therapists provide evaluations to clients targeting specific areas of reading. These results are used to identify specific strengths and weaknesses in language skills. Therapists utilize diagnostic and prescriptive lesson planning and assessments to deliver specialized multisensory instruction.
Our therapists are trained to address the needs of the client by creating specific lesson goals that include systematic and cumulative instruction in all literacy skills. Therapists use scientific research based Orton-Gillingham methodologies throughout each session to build a solid foundation for reading skills. Orton-Gillingham sessions are structured to target all areas of literacy skills and enhance memory.
Together with parents and caregivers, school administrators, teachers and other therapists, our Language Therapists work collaboratively to ensure that clients of all abilities continue to improve and build strong literacy skills.
